Geneva airport transfers as popular as ever

Beginning of October and the race for those last Christmas ski holiday airport transfers has truly started. This year the Christmas holiday week starts early on the 21st December and transfer requests for Geneva airport transfers are still increasing for the period. Looks like a lot of people have left it late this year.
Geneva airport, the major hub to reach over 200 Swiss, Italian and French ski destinations is as popular as ever. This comes as a little surprise given increasing competition from other regional airports such as Chambery, Grenoble and Lyon. The last few years have seen a steady increase in airport transfers from Chambery and one would have thought that this would have come to the expense of Geneva.
It is probably down to the never ending demand from all those Chamonix valley chalet owners and those city high flyers looking for the fastest route to the slope at any cost. May be the credit crunch will change all the dynamics and increase demand for alternative ski transfer routes such as Grenoble airport transfers. Time will tell, meanwhile which ever airport you fly into, don’t leave it to late for those over crowded school holiday periods.
